I have not seen too many posts for meets in our area and I literally just got my 335xi so I am not much help to you on the shop front. |

That's ok. Just nice to know that there is a local enthusiast. Done any mods? I'd love to see some pics of the 335xi. Such a great choice and I'm super jealous! |

No mods as of yet... I thought I was going to hate the rims, but they are not too bad. We will see though it is still pretty new. Here are a couple of low quality shots.

Wow, looks great. You can't go wrong with silver. Love the oem headlights. I notice you too went to west county. How was your sales experience?
We had some issues with ours, but the salesman really bent over backwards to try to fix what we were unhappy about. If only I could get my aftermarket headlights working correctly! |

My sales experience left a little something to be desired. I mean it was pretty easy for the sales guy - I knew what I wanted and what I felt was a fair offer. Plus my expectations are pretty low.
But he was really hard to get a hold off. I made 2 appts with him. The first one he was not there and the 2nd one I had to wait 25 minutes until he was available. He told me that it would only take 4 weeks for my car to get here from Germany and it took 8 weeks. 8 weeks is the standard and he knew that.... So after I ordered the car I stumbled upon bimmerpost and kept reading about it taking 8+ weeks for the cars to arrive. At week 4 I needed to turn my Lease back into Saab, so I told him he needed to give me a loaner until my car came in or I was cancelling. That was the one thing I felt they went above and beyond on. They gave me an '07 X3 to drive around for a few weeks. Get this: He told me that Bluetooth was standard on the Navi package (which it is not and shame on me b/c I should have double checked) so I did not get that and now we are trying to figureout how to get that added. But ultimately I have to blame myself on that. Lucky for them I had my heart set on the 335 and Love It! |

Machens in Columbia has worked out very well for me over the years.

I too am in the Lou.
We just added an e90 to the family but bought from Autohaus. Our x5 is from Plaza and can't complain about anything there. Tried to look at West County but the sales guy was more interested in telling me what I needed to be concerned with when pricing cars. For example, told me I shouldn't care about the date the car went into service. I told him I look differently at 30k miles if it has been on the road for 3 years vs. 2 years. We walked and bought at autohaus after narrowing it down to 3 cars. I've heard good things about the bimmer shop on Olive just east of 170. |

2) I currently have 1 of 4 angels working Jlevi had issues with their product/distributor that they were selling. I have replacement rings, but it entails me taking the car apart AGAIN, and then baking and pulling the housings apart and re-wiring the new angels in. Its a little bit of an overwhelming task. I would hate to do it and then it still not work. I am really open to any suggestions. On a side note...anyone going to the BMW car show @ oktoberfest this weekend? |

New member, new BMW owner. Recently acquired a 2006 330i with sport package from Autohaus. I had a really good buying experience there.
Coming from an 01.5 Passat 1.8T, with an APR chip an upgraded suspension, so am still getting used to RWD. Should be getting the winter wheels and tires this week just in case. |

Sweet,
Do you have any pictures of your 330? I like autohaus I have been up there for service a couple times. I was up there a month ago and almost bought that silver 06 m5, but they wouldn't give me anything for mine... I bought some Sport Edition KM 11 18" wheels from tire rack with the dunlop 3d they are awesome in the snow!! They will make your car drive like a AWD car in the snow!! Below is a picture of my winter wheels.

East Side
Just checkin' in. I am from the East side of the river but work just down the road from Plaza in Olivette. Bought an 07 335i in late December in O'Fallon at the Jack Schmitt Caddy dealer. Brought it over to Plaza for service and they were pretty good over there. So far I have thrown Blacklines and a blacked out grill on, more to come as the money comes in.

not sure if you all are CCA members, but the St. Louis Chapter meets every month. Next meeting is 2/3 at Autohaus beginning at 6:30 pm. I went to the January meeting and it seemed like a good crew.

What did you guys think of that snow....I thought it was awesome. Helped some guy in Clayton by Best Buy with a 328i that was stuck b/c he didn't know about turning off the dtc.

I'm kinda anal and didn't leave the garage until it started to melt. Went straight to the carwash. Yes, I said CARWASH!!! OOOOoo eeeee oooooo......
It was really pretty though, my dog is so cute, he's little and it was up past his head. I had to shovel him a potty walkway with a little circle at the end. Hee.
