H&R Springs for my F30?? Help!

Hello!

I have just fitted my 20" OEMS 115 wheels to my BMW 320d.
Now I need to lower it.. but I don't know how much I need to lower it. I have the m-sport chassi so I have heard that its more lowered than regualar f30 chassi from factory.. is this true?

I want the car to be lowered but still drivable as its a daily..

Excuse me for my bad English as I am from Sweden.

I have Eibach springs with Bilsteib B6 shocks. Im happy with result. Stiff, but comfortable.

Eibach springs drop from stock ~3cm in front and 2.5cm in back.
If you have Msport suspensiom then you are already 1cm lower than stock.

What is your wheel offset?

I'm on H&R Sports + Bilstein B8s. Also have 20" Velgen VMB5s with 245/35 - 275/30 tires.

The back never rubs but the front sometimes will rub if I hit a bump at high speeds.

Other than that, I'm loving the ride quality and setup so far.

The H&R kit (not the ultra low) will drop the msport one by a further 15-20mm

I also have H&R sports with Bilstein B8's and this was a good combo for stance, handling, and comfort for me. As other have said, this setup will drop your car another at least another ~15mm from your M-sport suspension.

I have bilstein coilovers and I love them. With that being said, your car looks good as-is.

Hi guys!

Im trying to buy me some H&R springs now BUT....
I ordered from BMW the sticker that's fitted inside the door where you can see all the weights of the car and its says...

Permissible Total Weight: 2005
Permissible Front Axle Weight: 1215
Permissible Rear Axle Weight: 980

Front Axle Weight 1215 kg!!

And I have been in contact with H&R in Germany and they say that they have no spring to sell to me as me car has a front axle weight of 1215 kg and the springs they have are from 921 kg to 990 maximum. They have never ever tried fitting the springs on a F30 with 1215 front axle weight.

Is there anyone here with the same front axle weight as me? How did you do?

Regards,
