HELP!! Disconnected battery and can't get in the trunk!

I hope someone can help me....

I disconnected the battery from the trunk to change my steering wheel and closed the trunk. I tried to get back into the trunk using the key. I turn the key but nothing happens.....how the hell do I get into the trunk?? Is there a secret way?

Please help!!!!

can't you hook up a battery to your jumper ports under your hood as if you were going to jump start your car. that should give you power to open the trunk

You have to twist the key much harder.

Cannot fold the seats down if they are in the fully up position, because the latches are accessed from the trunk.

That would probably work, but the key is easier.

the key fob should work once you take that little key out of the fob...use that and insert it into the keyhole under the trunk near license plate!

No need to push the keyslot. You just gotta twist it real hard and it will feel as if you're about to break your key.

Thanks everyone....I couldn't twist the key hard enough with my hands. Used a pair of pliers to twist the key. Man....I can't believe BMW made it so hard to open the trunk with the key. It was so easy with my old E46. Thanks again!
