Brakes squeal and thud when braking

I am experiencing 2 problems for couple of months now.
Car has 5k miles so far 6 months old.

1. Brake squeal before coming to a stop, braking at slow speed
2. Slight thud sound while braking coming from rear before coming to a complete stop.

Will be taking it to the dealer coming monday.

Was wondering if you any of you guys gals have similar issues?
I have steel brakes.

I have the same issue as #1. #2, never heard in my car.

Such a shame this one squeals too.
My F10 M5 was the perfect car but the brake noise was too annoying. Seems to be a lottery as to whether one has it or not and it really puts me off.

My X5M has squealed for 30,000 miles from mile 1. F90 is quiet. Go figure.
