Call from BMW NA

I received a call today from BMWNA, they left a voicemail saying they're the team that designed the M5, and wanted to see how things were going with the car so far. I called the number back, and the same person that left the VM picked up the phone. She wanted to get feedback on the car, specifically if I was having any issues, and she said if there were any issues in the future, or any additional feedback I'd like to provide, to call that number.

This is BMW #6 for me, but I don't recall receiving any calls like this in the past. Is this typical?

We've done around 15 new BMWs (mainly M series or 7 series) over the last 15 years and have never received a call from BMWNA.

I got the same call a few weeks ago. This is my fifth m car and never before had a call like that before either.

I got the same phone call on my M5! I thought I was special because I got a First Edition M5

Anywho I appreciated getting a call where they were interested in feedback both positive and negative.

I seem to remember a VM like this and not thinking anything of it. I didn't call back bc I haven't really had any issues.

I got this call too. It was a woman who said she worked with the factory that builds the M5. Just someone from BMWNA who wanted feedback on the car.

the call from BMWNA is representing the plant that built the car and is actively collecting feedback to further improve the product. The call is legit and worthy of your time.

I got a call from Affalterbach asking why I left them after dumping my 2018 E63S; number blocked.

Got the call as well a few months back.

I thought it was a scam or something - so I never called them back.

Interesting that they appear that it may have been legit.

She called me also.. my wife heard the female voice asking me “how it was for me” and she grabbed the phone out of my hand and hung up on her.. then she started screaming at me! I tried to explain but....

I didn't receive any call, but I would definitely mention the extremely squeaky brake if I do.

I got the same call too about a month after getting the car but couldn't talk then. I asked them to send me an email and they did - it is signed with "BMW Manufacturing
BMW of North America, LLC, Customer Experience Team".

Will contact them based on how my "shipping blocks" saga goes I mention in another thread. After removing them my car is for the third day at dealer trying to see what they can do about the vibrations I am having and I drive a beautiful 430 grand coupe loaner.
