I'm choosing between these two colors, and interested in which people think is the best looking.

I'm keen on an aggressive look. Will be adding all the carbon fibre bits, lowering it slightly and installing the M performance exhaust.

For those who have seen a few F90s around, or even compared and eventually bought one of these colonies, which is the best?

Did you see both in person?
I did drive 5 times to Chicago which is about 1 hour each way just to see it in person.

It makes a big difference then In picture. You might have you own answer right there.

Both are great colors and white can look really nice if you add black, like tinting windows or rims or specially carbon fiber parts.
It can really show on white, obviously more contrast then like black color for example.

Either way both are great color

White, CF and Black Wheels is a nice look IMO. DG is nice as well.

Can't go wrong either way.

If the choice were mine I would go White as I feel I've seen less white than DG and like them equally.

I went through the same decision as you are going through.

I ended up with White and blacked out everything else on the car. It is stealthy and still looks bad ass in particular with the contrast of the roof with the white.

There are days I think about DG vs white. Over the past 20yrs I've had silver and black cars and was ready to go back to white again.

You can't go wrong with either. Enjoy and let us know what you choose.

It's hard deciding on the color for the M5 given the options. You can't go wrong with either of those.

I came from a F10 in Alpine White. It was a great color and I always have liked white for how clean it looks.

On the F90 I think it doesn’t look nearly as aggressive as DG. My coworkers that care about cars all said the DG looks way more aggressive and more expensive. Doesn’t look nearly as dirty as white does when it’s been a week since washed either. The Comp shadow line trim looks especially dope with DG.

What did you do with the kidney grill?

My first thought was to replace it with black... but it's so big that i thought it might look ok left alone and that I'll just do the front splitters...

Will post a picture. It came from BMW with the blacked out items. As others have pointed out that is the way the CP comes as well. I did not touch the bumper.

Everything was installed at the factory or at the port.

Yeah the kidneys are there with the comp, but not the front splitters. Plus the mirror covers and diffuser are gloss black, rather than the nicer CF, and I dislike that extra large black bit on the rear of the comp.

I reckon the base model plus a few additions ends up classier.

Here it is. Only picture I have that clearly shows the front grill, side, and skirts. The skirts are of course carbon fiber not black.

This is the worst colour on an M5.
No wonder not many around. You gotta be bonkers to get this colour.

I would do DG. Alpine White is a great color, but it is not aggressive enough color for this beast.

As an owner of a white F90 I would agree. DG or that really cool frozen silver is much more of an aggressive look. It simply looks better in many ways. I was torn right up to delivery. If you want to fly under the radar a bit then white is a solid choice...

Of course all of this is subjective/personal. From behind the wheel it's ALL the same...very thankful to have this beast.

You can be a sleeper and be under the radar.

My Marina Bay Blue M5C gets a lot of complements another aggressive color that looks great is the Java Green Metallic. The M5 really pops in bright unique colors and all the Black Carbon extras. I really thought about white because it looks so great but very common on non M5 series. Whatever color you pick you will love the M5 good luck kept us posted.
