i am torn between autobahn exotics and CP-E right now. i have heard the autobahn in person but havn't heard the CP-E yet. if there is anyone in the o.c. area willing to meet up i would be really stoked and would buy you lunch or a beer or both

The CPE exhaust sounds awesome. Install was easy as well, everything fits like a glove. I had it for about 5k miles..loved it. I also heard it on an E90 with the Dinan flash and it sounded MEAN. It was noticeable louder than it was on my car, which is stock in the performance department.

Yeah as in past tense, lol. I was going back to stock because I had planned on selling my car. It's not going to sound like an M3 or F430 with a V8, but the sound was very deep and unique. And yes it was very burbly..most noticeable when you're cruising in first gear and just let off the gas, you will hear the gargling sound.

When I was in the market for the exhaust...I had a couple of things I followed by.......regardless of the name, I want to have a nice catback under $1,500. The CPE was the only one that fit the bracket for me and no regrets at all.

The best thing about the exhaust was that there was minimal droning! At 75-80 MPH cruising on the highway, it was like the stock exhaust. The exhaust sound is noticeable at lower RPM and screams when you WOT the car.
