Winter Tire Package from tirerack

New BMW Owner just got my New 2018 X3 M40I
Looking for winter tire packages, Tire Rack gives me this setup below but not sure if it will clear the brakes or fit proper. Any feedback will help thank you
And has anybody found winter tires in 21 or tried using?
Front and Rear


Size:

18x8


Offset:

35mm


Backspacing:

5.91"


Bolt Pattern:

5-112


Rec. Tire Size:

225/60-18

I dont think 18s will clear the msport brakes

This is not entirely true. On every single thread I have to post this.

Bmw recommends their 19" wheels.

Some 18" aftermarket wheels will clear the msport brakes. It depends on the barrel and spokes. There are enough data points in the snow tire thread.

No one has tried fitting 18" bmw wheels. Those are only 7" wide. I think they are very narrow (personal taste).

I have 18s on mine and they work fine.

I agree with arciga18 that there is a lot of misinformation. Not ALL OEM BMW 18s fit so BMW takes the high road and say that none fit.

I do not quite understand tires that well.
If i go to 19 does that not mess up the rotation so now the car thinks i am doing less or more Km or does it not work that way?

It really depends on the overall circumference of the 18" tire.

Put the tire sizes into a calculator like this to tell you if there is any speedometer error.
