New member here! South east WI anyone?

Hello!
Nice to be here. I have been a lurker as of late (lots of helpful information on here! Thanks guys)
My E90 is very new to me, and is the first vehicle I have ever owned that is newer than a 1991 model year! It was a shock to me haha.
I do love this car though. It had been sitting in my neighbors driveway as a pine needle collector for almost 6 months and I finally said "aaaahhhh what the hell"

Talked to him over a few beers and he spit out a number......
$3500!!!!!!!

Went immediately to the bank and grabbed cash.

It is a tad high on the miles at 165000 (it now has 170000! and I only bought it in October)
BUT!!!!

He is the original owner and it was very well taken care of. I received a massive folder of invoices dating all the way back to 2007.

It is a Japanrot over Beige 330xi, automatic, and cold weather package.
Has the typical issues I have read about on the forum, mirrors doing wacky stuff, cowl leaking in through fan (fixed that yesterday), just started oil pan gasket leak, and is giving me allot of erroneous bulb out errors.

Things I have done:
Completely baselined the vehicle within the first week by doing;
Plugs & Coils
Air filter &charcoal panel removal.
Fuel filter & pressure regulator assm.
Both VANOS solenoids.
new belt, tensioner & idler (have been mechanic for awhile, WELL versed in that BS scenario)
O2 sensors
transmission filter and 7Qts of redline D4 (shifts like a dream)
Two oil changes already (I do 4500-5K intervals)
Voltage regulator
All ground cables in engine compartment
and a complete scrub down of interior.

Next up will be:

some pictures for you to enjoy as I think she is gorgeous, A clay bar and good wax (pine trees are terrible)
Both DISA valves as I have a good chattering sound from drivers side engine compartment under medium to hard acceleration.
And possibly a CCV system refresh as there is no records of that being replaced.

Cheers!!

Hahaha, clever!
it is Japan Red. I never really enjoyed red for a vehicle, but it certainly has grown on me. In the sunlight it really has a bright pop to it.
