Connected Drive App Not Working
Hi All, is the connected drive app still not working for anyone with an iPhone? Mine doesn’t seem to send anything or update from my car. Thanks.

tried again, getting the action cannot be performed because another action is already in progress message on anything I do which is different than yesterday when everything just said sending to vehicle endlessly and never did anything.

Last time it worked for me was Jan 2. If BMW is going to charge us for this service, do we get credited an additional 5 days... for the 5 days (and counting) that the Connected Drive service has been down? And the two+ weeks that Apps didn't work?
AND if our Wifi HotSpot is not working (This has never been working), will BMW extend the trial period there as well?? While we're at it... is BMW going to count the months of all this beta testing we're doing in our three years of "included" service...? etc, etc, etc.... |

This means they are addressing their server so they are working on it. It certainly not our vehicles problem. We are making progress. It was exciting for the 3 minutes we had service.

Since purchase, I have not been able to log-in to connect drive in the vehicle nor can I add my vehicle in the connected app. I just get error messages. As anyone experienced this and located a fix?

Although I sat out most of the dead period with my x5 in the shop, it's all working for me too including remote start through the app.

Mine did the same, had to spend a week at the dealership, eventually fixed by BMW accessing the car remotely and doing a total reset on things (sorry not sure of the exact details of what they did to it)...

Checked mine and my wife's phone is working fine this morning.
Mine was still giving me the something is already in progress please try again, a result of trying to send something 2 days ago. I tried a bunch of things, ultimately what fixed it after a reboot, logout etc was do just delete the app completely and reinstall and it is now working again also!

Very cool to have your mirrors in when locked then send remote 3D from app and watch the mirrors unfold, take pic, then fold back in. It shouldn’t impress me as much as it does but the “cool factor” is off the charts.
Remote start option still absent from the android app for me. How about other android users? |

I can’t connect through the app either.
The app knows my name and my car, but the last time the app updated was on 12/20 - two days before I got the car. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice and still no luck. |
