Going to Boston, what is there to do?

I'm going to be in Boston in the next couple of weeks (the weekend of August 1-4th).
Just wondering if you peeps can suggest some tourist-friendly sites/restaurants to check out?

Thanks!

Top of the Hub (prudential tower) Nice restaurant with a great view of the city.
Tapeo's on Newbury St. Spanish Tapas on one of the trendiest streets. Lots of good shopping in the area-
Copley Sq. Shopping

Duck tours. Bus that gives a tour on land and then the bus, which is also a boat goes on the river.

Boston is great, you will like it

Red sox game.

Bartley's Burgers right off Harvard Square. . .

"One of the top burger places in the nation" - Wall Street Journal

It's pretty much ALWAYS busy but the burgers are top notch. . .I definitely recommend it. . .

Legal Sea Foods for sure. Charley's on Newbury Street as well as many other restaurants there.

What part of town are you staying in?

Check your history book from 10th grade. I'm sure there are lots of ideas published there.

You must only be able to help if you know what exit since you live in NJ...

+1 on the sox game. Go to the Public House on Beacon St. in Brookline. (Some of the best food and beers around) Be sure to hit boylston st. or Fanueil Hall after 10 if you like the nightlife scene. Freedom trail if you like history. Charter tours if you like harbor cruises. Have fun

I always go to 5 North Square when I'm in town. http://www.5northsquare.com/
Lots of historic sites to see too, if you like history.

Gonna be up there the week after Labor Day, can't wait.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! I really appreciate it! Keep em coming if you have any more!

As for where exactly I'll be staying, I'm not too sure yet, although I will have a car so location isn't really an issue.

Go to Kelley's in either Revere or Saugus. Revere is the original, but Saugus is bigger and has seating. Best roast beef sandwich/onion rings on the planet.

I'm from LA and visited Boston recently.

Make sure you go to North end and have some good Italaian food and then get to Mikes Pastry for a amazing Canoli...You will not regret.
