Location of OBD socket

Hi gurus,
Help! I can't find the OBD adaptor. The adaptor on my old ride (E90 was) was near the driver's door but I can't help where in G30!. The manual indicated near the driver but no specific location and I had been looking and still can't find it.

It's on the driver side near the kick panel. Look up.
