Start/Stop Button
Finally got my E90xi!
I love the exhaust sound and the comfort access is great. I'll post pics up this weekend sometime. My question is, how long does the start / stop button stay light after you lock the car? Is it supposed to? Thanks

That's not too terrible. I think most people wait for more than 2 months. Another member here has ED in June/July. Now that's an unbearable wait.

June/July??
Ouch! I've driven it on the highway twice so far. I notice that other drivers in Audi's, MB's, other BMW's try to race me. I only have 200 miles on the odo. I hope I find them again in 1,000 miles. HA!

I understood that the whole point behind comfort access was not having to stick the key in the hole. The car knows when someone in possesion of the key is in it and all you have to do is touch start. So maybe the start button will stay lit for as long as you stand there staring into the window. After all the car knows you're there (or have I got this all wrong?). Try giving the key to someone else to take into the house and then see how long the thing stays lit. |

The start/stop button doesn't stay lit that long after you lock your car. The wait for it to turn off is short enough that you won't feel bored waiting to see that moment BTW, this piece of info is coming from an owner without Comfort Access.
