Xpel Ultimate pre-cut PPF any regrets?

After waiting a long month, I’m approaching my scheduled pre-cut Xpel Ultimate full face (hood, bumper, headlights, fenders, side mirrors, cup holder, and door foot plates) professionally installed. At 2k, my biggest concern are the looks of the ppf cut-outs around the edges. Does anyone have xpel pre-cuts installed happy or not thrilled? Regrets and you should have gone with a custom cut install? Any areas of the pre-cuts you stare at every time you walk up to your ride?

Did it affect the front parking sensors?

I installed it by a local guy, no major areas but if u look closely and when u wash the car it's noticeable otherwise no peeling or major issues

same here... local guy did the pre cut kit. it's OK job, i still see cut lines on the side mirrors and the bumper... i do find it annoying, but it's less and less a bother as the days go by.

Wondering this too. Got installation appointment coming up this week.
Worried about the paint damage for the custom cut, but also have a question about the aesthetic around the edges for precut

Also I have carbon black. Really easy to see little defects. What color do you have

Completely depends on the installer. Ours is perfect. Very hard to find any lines. We have Phytonic blue

I had mine installed at Extreme near the BMW Performance Center after delivery and everything was pre cut except for the hood so the leading edges could be wrapped. It looks awesome on my Black Sapphire finish. You can notice the edge only if you are really looking for it on the mirrors and I honestly prefer that so the line is nice and straight.

Thank you for choosing XPEL to protect your X Series. Our Pre-Cut kits are the most accurate templates in the entire industry designed with precision and always hand tested before releasing onto our software. Custom cut installations can look good but are very rare to find someone truly qualified to do them. Our Pre-Cut kits/Film will not affect your parking sensors.

Thank you for choosing XPEL and having it done at Blackout Tinting! They're an amazing group of people!

Post pics!

Got the PPF - couldn’t tell it was on the car and no more headlight or front body imperfections! Recommend it! Side Mirrors look just fine too!
