e93 Glove Box into a e92?

The e93 glove box DOOR into an e92

Is this possible? Has anybody done it?

The e93 glove box automatically locks when the car is locked (or off?) AND
the latch is closer to the driver seat.

Thanks

that thing is annoying as hell! freakin' electronics....

It is not just open and shut, the entire thing is electronic...I mean wtf!? All I want to do is put my shit in there and close it but it always has "something" in the way....it's really annoying, and now for some reason, it won't open unless I use the actual key...

There you have it, direct proof that even if you can you probably shouldn't.

Does the e92 have knee airbags? Cause I believe the e93 have them built into the glovebox door.

The e93 locks the glove box and the center console when you lock the car to prevent anyone from reaching in and opening these areas when you leave your car with the top down.

I think this is pretty cool stuff...

The airbag is why there are electrical interlocks on the door as well. Having the airbag deploy when the glove box is open wouldn't be too cool.

I still wanna see what happens to the bit*h when the airbag goes off while she is sunning her feet on the dash while riding in the passenger seat.

Yes, and cooler still is the fact that if you reach in and touch the center console unlock button, both the armrest and glovebox will automatically unlock (but nothing else).

So be careful to leave important items in these places.
