I think they're referring to the new 2er GC, which is FWD or AWD, and will get an M-performance variant...but the real deal M2GC would be awesome.

Article talks about 4 and 6 cylinder versions. Definitely not an M2 Gran Coupe. Maybe a M240i Grand Coupe.
