Reset service Engine Soon Light?

is there anyway for myself to reset it? i tried disconnecting the battery but it doesnt work. besides bmw any other ways?

i just got it back from the dealer for 15k service couple weeks ago. i check idrive and it said everything was all good.

iDrive doesn't tell you anything useful. If the light's lit, something's wrong.

You can use a good code reader (a BMW one, not an OBDII reader) to get more information. If you're still under warranty you might as well bring it back to the dealership.

It could very well be due to the fuel filler cap. If you do not tighten it till you hear the click, the "Service Engine Soon" light will glow for a couple of days and will reset itself.
