Has anyone painted headlight housing black?

Has anyone blacked out their headlight housing? If so please post a pic and share

If you can use Photoshop, or know someone who can, have a go at editing a photo' of your actual car. This will give you a good idea. In my case, I used PS to try what you're considering on my previous 3 Series and concluded it just didn't look right given the body colour. I also tried the Photoshop test on my current estoril blue M235i when considering replacing the chrome grille with carbon fibre - again, it just didn't work for me. In fact, replacing the chrome grille with a body colour version looked more promising, but I don't know anyone who has done that.
