Ofhg or head gasket?

2008 Bmw 335i. 100k miles
Has oil cooler
Oil cooler gasket has been replaced but ofhg has not and has been slightly leaking but ive never seen oil in the coolant until now.
Yesterday, i was replacing my water pump and thermostat and I notice the water pump to thermostat hose what gunged up in some penutbuter... The oil coolant mix I would assume is now in all the hoses and engine. I'm going to try my best to clean it out but should i be worried about the head gasket? (Cause i am) what are some things I can do to make sure my head gasket is ok? It ran fine all the way up till i took it appart. Is it more common for it to be my ofhg or the head gasket? Thanks for any help and or info!

Definitely more likely to be OFHG than HG.

Thank you! Makes me feel better about the situation. I'm waiting for ofhg to come in mail.
