Hi, Back to the BMW Famliy!

Hi everybody. I am posting after long long time. I was driving a 2007 911-C2S for a year or so. It was so beautiful, but obviously my world (where I am working, Silver Spring , Md) is not ready for a daily drive 911!? I had for the first time driver’s window broken and 2 sets of valve caps stolen…

It was really not fun any more working and being worry if someone is messing with my C2S in the public parking bldg.:/ So long story short, I sold it couple of months back and lost a lot, but I treated myself again with a 08-335i coupe. I am still breaking it in, but love every moment of it. Not that I am not worry about my 335ci, but my worry is less. I, like most of (if not all of ) you love cars, especially BMWs, but I have learnt that they are not worth being so worry about (even a beautiful 911-C2S).
Since I got my new BMW again, I was thinking of painting my wood interior. I did have the aluminum trim on my previous 330i (E46), I thought I go a little PTurbo style So I did it. Actually after searching and asking around, a professional paint shop did it for me. It came out very nicely (especially in person). Exactly the way I wanted and imagined it.
Again I just wanted to say Hi and let you guys know that I am back. Although I am not nearly as active member as most of you guys are, but I am visiting this site everyday for several times! In my way I am trying to show my respect for all of you. I have learnt a lot from each of you. Peace!

Welcome back to the family. We missed you

Don't worry about the would be thieves. Just park a Pitbull inside the car before you leave

White trim interior looks dashing and unique, for sure

Thanks Tondtar. I would rather have a (einen) Deutscher Schäferhund (Germanshepherd) A question for you; are you Persian? Because "Tondtar" in Persian means "Faster"! -And yes, I wanted to have a unique interior!

Is it standard white or does it have that pearl shine to it? Is it glossy? I would like to know. Welcome back!

Well, I am busted AGAIN!!!

Yes, sir. My background is Persian, Indeed. Although, I have lived 2/3 of my life in US as another culturally confused naturalized expat (as a US citizen). No worries, though ... Got over it quite a while ago - Believe me

Nice job on the translation, bud

Cool...another local enthusiast.

I used to do the Germantown to downtown Silver Spring commute in the late 90's. Even had my own assigned garage parking in my building. But then I was parking a measly civic haha. Now I got the Clarksburg to Bethesda (montgomery mall area) commute and love it.

I was all set to take delivery of a white coupe with 19", style 230 wheels, but the car was supposedly damaged in port. I suspect the dealer lied and couldn't negotiate with the dealer that really had it coming in. Anyways, I ended up with a sedan and love it. So much easier to get a baby seat in it.

Congrats and see you around.

Hi SimOman,
This is exactly the color of exterior. The guy at paint shop even backed the trims! It is like being done in factory. He did a superb job.

Hi Tondtar,
I am Persian as well. After doing my military service and war I went to Austria and stayed for 8 years (did my Mechanical engineering). Since 1999 we are living in the State. I travel every year to Europe and Iran. I am in the US-Citizenship process!! Good to know you. By the way, I love your car and especially the wheels!

Hi HotIce,
I love living in Potomac. We were living in Rockville for couple of years. But still, you are right, we are living really close. I like your banner

Hi Ramos,
Thanks for the welcome. You see, in “aggressive” design, there is always a thin line. Either you are on the Happy side or you are not so Happy. You are right you need to see it in person. Still I can’t grantee that you may like it. That is why it “may” make my interior unique I have more pictures if you like to see more.

Hi Anonymouse20910,
I thought the commute from Clarksburg to Bethesda would be bad as well!? –Ja, the dealers sometimes can’t tell you the whole truth. I like the sedan, too. But after the C2S I wanted to stay with a 2 doors. My wife has a Highlander and that is why I can have the luxury to have another coupe.

Hi Bimmer Loyalist,
Thanks for your comment.
