Fattest, stickiest tires on stock rims

Guys,
I am looking for someone who had fitted some 275-295 width rear tires on their stock wheels.

If you're lowered a bit, as I am on H&R springs, that would be helpful to know also.

I'm going to have serious traction problems soon, and trying to be proactive.

Cup2s are generally a good bet provided the temperature is above 60F.

Lots of people are running 255/35/19 in front and 275/35/19 in back with no problems.

I'm going to need something wider than 275.

There's some older threads from Apex where they mounted some 305/35/18's with their wheels...so big meat can fit.

I think R888R 265/35/19 fronts and 285/35/19 rears could be done. Probably need a small spacer in the front with a nice camber of -2 to -3 range I would hope. I like the extra sidewall of the 35 profile. Otherwise the 265/30/19f and 295/30/19r or 305/30/19r.

Bridgestone RE71R + 275/35/19! (Safe route)

Do you plan on playing with the camber at all?

295/30/19 R888R has been done as well.....

I've run 285/30/18 before on 18x10, if your car is lowered and you don't have a lot of camber you will hit the fender

I ended up buying the federal rs-rr. I was told they are really on width wider than advertised. Can you believe the price?

id be careful running 265 in the front with R888R as the toyos are slightly wider than most tires of the same specs, and likely will rub on max compression. you can easily run 285 in the rear on stock, but havent tried when lowered. im on v3's and run 255/275, but i think i can go wider in the rear if need be.

Any more details on your set-up? I'm running V3 with spacers (7.5 R, 10mm F) but thinking about going to a 255/275 setup as well.

You won't have any problems with 255/275 on OEM wheels, spacers aren't necessary for clearance just if you want a flush look. I'm lowered at .75-1" on front and rear with -2.7 on camber in the front and -2 in the rear.
