My current map is EUR 2018/4 automatic updates are enabled. I would have thought that a 2019 update would have been released by now?

Mine is 2019/1 which I downloaded from BMW.

Thanks, thought there should be a Q1 update. Did you just set the map to auto download? I checked that this morning but it was not apparent that anything was downloaded. Will check on the way home later.

Europe 2019-2 now available on the BMW Download Manager.

I was just thinking it was about time for that. Did it download automatically or it you do it via your pc and usb, not sure if the reference to download manager is to the way we had to update on F15?

Yes it's downloaded on the PC and transferred by USB to the G05 X5.

Same at the F15.

I believe OTA Update are not active yet?

Just tried download manager and get an error "usb map update not booked or technical reason update is not available for your vehicle"

This is interesting, I understand this is the EU thread here (NA) but my maps did update over the air, well I didn't manually do it. Here is how I know.

My home was built last year just about 7-8mths ago, when I was first setting up home address it could not find my address nor navigate to it. A few weeks ago while starting in the garage I noticed it said update available in the the notifications. I went in hit accept and it downloaded an update (no details on what it fully did) but now my home address shows up and I can navigate to it as well. Took about 3 mins or so to update, I ran back inside and when I came back out it was done.

Attached is pic of the website for my wife and I cars. They are both set the same as well.

Spoke to BMW connected team today. OTA map update will work but can be up to 6 weeks after map is released. 2019-2 has been available for 2 weeks so maybe a little longer before we see ota update in UK. She checked my account and for some reason usb updated is not showing. They will find out why and update me on Tuesday. She said it's usually the OTA update that drops off accounts not usb.
