Phytonic Blue X7 Delivery

After 6 months of waiting, she has arrived! We took delivery in at the Performance Center in Spartanburg, highly recommended by the way

You get to abuse the heck out of their X7 and see what these cars can really do. We also got a 400 mile drive home to figure out all the tech

My main purpose for the pics is to show the X7 in the blue since they just started production in the additional colors in April, and my interior color and trim as we debated over it quite a bit and found pics lacking.

So, Phytonic with Full Merino Coffee Interior and Anthracite-Brown Poplar Matte Finish Wood Trim.

The trim has specs of brown in that match the coffee seats nicely, and we love the matte finish. I also have a matte finish wood in my Tesla so we knew that was what we wanted, but matching to the Coffee was a risk that paid off.

Pics of course look very different, I find the seats to be darker than the pics and more brown. Looks way more orangey in these pics to me. Anyhow, here we go:

Gorgeous. We got that matte trim too. It's so nice. I love how you can feel the texture in the wood. Just ordered our on Monday so we have a little wait. Why did you have to wait six months?!

We pre-ordered in October on the first day, but Blue was not available until April, so right on time, April 1st, she was born!

Beautiful color and it nicely highlights the aluminum trim outside. Your wheel choice is also perfect for this color. Enjoy!

That would be agony

It's only been 5 days for me and it's been hard

This will be my first BMW. (We also have a Tesla as well) Could you elaborate on your experience picking it up at BMW? I live about 550 miles away and I would be curious if it would be worth it?

I've waited longer for cars I spec'd out very specifically, it goes quick believe it or not, life makes sure of that

If you're close enough, it's very worth it, and completely free (outside of getting there and back and the gift shop!). Hotel is free, dinner/breakfast at the hotel is free, and you get treated like royalty for a day. You also get to do to all sorts of performance driving exercises in the same model you bought, it's a learning experience for sure and lots of fun!

If we did it again, we would likely skip the factory tour since we did it once, but would love to do the driving stuff again!

skidpads, slalom, braking, hot laps, and offroad, it's pretty impressive

Beautiful, Cabby! Nice pics, too. Interestingly enough, even though it's now April 20th, Phytonic Blue STILL isn't on the BMWUSA configurator. You're lucky!

It's much brighter in the sunlight for sure. Lots of pics of X5's with this color which are pretty representative.

Dang! I really wanted the phytonic blue, but was told when we ordered (end of March) that we couldn't get it. I asked again when build was scheduled (April 1), and was told no again. Almost wishing I'd waited another month

Nice! Ours should be done 1st week of May. Ordered in March in Phytonic blue with ivory/navy leather and M sport. Its a great color for sure!
