M-Logo on Display Key

I got my key to display the m-logo on my M40i.

It initially showed BMW, but then i powered it off by pressing the power button for a few seconds when the key is open and on one of the screens.

i know most people dont like the display key but thought i would share for those who do like it

Mine was part of a package and I actually quite like it. I’ve got used to it’s size, but the main thing is... it does make me look after my car key and I always know where it is!

Just powered it off then on again

And it works,looks good
I really like the fob,and people are always interested in it

The only part I hate is that there no place to hook a key chain on it.

I powered it off then turned it back on still normal bmw logo. Is there buttons to press?

Same for me.

You have to press the power button on the side when the key's display is unlocked. Keep it pressed till the message "power off?" Come on 3-4 seconds. See the pic in my first post.

Mine came with the M logo. Guess the dealer set it up for me

I tried several times. I will check with the dealer the next time that I am in. Still waiting on a seat bracket and passenger airbag sensor repair since November. Car keeps telling me not to drive it. Dealer says it is ok. Last month BMW sent the parts - for a manual seat. That beast does not exist on the North American market.
