Picked up my first BMW last week, 2016 m235i, and started noticing references to an m sport package online. While shopping for my car I never noticed any with an m sport package around me.(Chicago, IL)

Is the package an EU option only? And what does it even change?

235i and 240i come with m sport package automatically. The 228i and 230i can be optioned with the m sport package.

There are also a variety of m sport options too, both performance based, such as intake and exhaust, and cosmetic.

There is a M Performance package which usually adds things like 19" rims, cosmetic things like front splitter, side skirt decals, carbon spoiler and maybe the M exhaust too?

M Sport Package = exterior appearance package (standard on M235i and M240i)

Track Handling Package = blue M sport brakes, additional cooling, variable sport steering, etc. (standard on M235i and M240i)

M Performance parts = BMW after sales performance and cosmetic upgrades
