I've had the X5 for a short time now. I like it a lot, one thing I cant figure out is why it always asks me to sign in to Connected when I start the car. When I attempt to do that it shows the password I'm typing in plain text in a box next to the sign in panel. I never seem to be able to log on. Whenever I attempt again it always shows my password in plain text in a separate box next to the sign in panel before I even type in the password, when I attept to use that password by saying OK nothing seems to happen.
Although the Connected app on my phone says it has sent a destination to the car, the destination never arrives at the car. The app seems to see. the car, it's fuel level, etc.

The same thing happened to me, and some others, when I got mine. The password that is saved is bad even though it appears to look good. I fixed mine by logging into the Guest profile and then changed back to my profile. There should be a way to delete the saved credentials but I do recall how I did it. I know for sure that I typed my password in again and didn’t use the saved one. It could have been after that I deleted all saved credentials and did the guest back to mine. Once I got it correct I didn’t have the problem anymore.
