Issue with HU_NBT

Hi Everyone,

Long story short, my F30 was involved in a minor accident which ended up needing one of the xenon headlight replaced as the auto level stopped working.

Now BMW told me that there is something wrong with my HU-H (which I assume the same as HU_NBT) as they are unable to program the new headlight module to HU-H and advised me that it needs to be replaced (part number 9325976).

I've done FDL coding to my HU_NBT which I doubt would be causing the issue and I've also done one FA coding to it. Would changing 6NH to 6NS cause this issue? Would reverting it back to 6NH solved it?

The FDL coding should be no problem, but the changes in FA could cause this problem.
I would change it to original and they could try it again.

I just hope that BMW is not trying to rip me off asking me to replace my HU_NBT when it's not needed.

I'm wondering if anyone else been in similar situation as me where BMW could not do their programming due to DIY FA changes.

Just an update on this. Reverting back to original VO solved it.

Dealer was able to reprogram HU_NBT without any issue.
