Question for those who have DIY'd a HAS kit

How difficult is it to remove the spring perches from the stock front struts?

Getting ready to tackle this in the next couple of days and want to know what I'm in for. Car has 100 miles on it so it shouldn't be a situation of built up corrosion or anything on them yet.
