Ferrari Pista vs McLaren 720S Roll Racing & Performance Testing

The PISTA is gorgeous, stunning even. I still love the 720S. And once again... McLaren will NOT be denied! This is Brooks from DragTimes (great YouTube Channel) who flew over to Europe and met with the owner of both vehicles who agreed to complete instrument testing and various rolling races against both cars. Just wow...
I actually am always glad to see owners choosing Ferrari's in colors other than Red. And of particular note on the Pista, the rear Brakes are also ginormous!

Also of note, Ferrrai has NOT released official times and there are no current editorial reviews of stats. That makes this video of particular interest.

5:35 terrible stonechipping on the pista

Interesting video that shows that turbo lag and different gearing shows that it can make cars faster in specific situations, even when just doing straight line driving. What's fast and not is more complicated than just a 0-60 time or 1/4mile time etc even on straight line autobahn driving, let alone on a track

Also interesting is that the pista is of course $100k or so more expensive, but, it does sound way better imho (but still not near that Novitec 812 N-LARGO)

It's hard to imagine all the hypes about the 720S, the 488 Pista is a little faster. Ferrari please :-)

Business owner near me took delivery of his 488 Pista a little over a month ago, got a great look at it. Amazing machine to behold, 100x better looking than a 720S imho.

Does that also mean $100K better looking. FTR, I get that McLaren is a great car but the looks don't appeal to me. Ferrari is rolling art IMHO.

I personally prefer the more traditional mid-engine look of the 600LT over the 720S somewhat new age styling.

Notic3d that too. The 720S is a Hypercar fir the pric3 of a Supercar. This has been demonstrated time and again. McLaren deserves the props and sales they get.

Good thing they got Jethro Bovingdon. Now I can take MT a lot more seriously when it comes to supercar reviews. Before it was like little kids driving adult cars. I'd like to see an episode in which they pit Jethro driving skills to Randy Pobst to see how much faster Randy compared to Jethro. Always curious to see how fast someone like Jethro vs. a professional driver like Randy.
