It depends on the dealership and its management as to how aggressive they are regarding you screwing with your car. At your own risk..

The upside is you save 2 hours of personal time uninstalling and then reinstalling the mod. The downside is the mod is discovered, reported to BMW, and you lose the balance of the warranty. Personal time is worth a lot, but the warranty is probably worth a lot more. Brian.

Never had a problem with my dealership. My PROcede has been in my car in some form since approximately 15000 miles and has encountered many service visits without complaint. BTW, I am now at 60k plus with an oil change scheduled for the 21st.
