Is moving threads to sub forums really necessary?
I notice that off-topic threads are quickly moved to sub forums. So this means I have to jump through a half-dozen plus sub forums all the time just to stay current on the latest threads, right?

They're moved to the relevant sections, I see no problem with this.

yeah, this forum seems much more organization-focused than just about any other i've been on, and i think part of it is the sheer number of sub-forums here. i get not wanting outright wrong things in the general forum (such as for sale or whatnot), but in borderline cases items tend to get moved rather than not, and create an unusable surface to keep current with.
