How to remove ceramic coating from windshield

Hi guys,
My wife's car was treated with ceramic coating including all windows. The front windshield now is making the wiper blades "jump" a few times each cycle, I don't want to call the installer to touch my car anymore, don't trust him anymore.

Any idea tips on how to remove it (DIY) before thinking on taking the car to a body shop and have the windshield polished?

Polish might be the only way to get it off. I know it's really the only way to get it off the paint. You might be able to remove with clay bar, but not certain...

Thanks a lot
I think clay is not that abrasive but it's worth the trying before polishing
Never liked polishing my windshields sincerely because I feel I'm destroying the most important glass layer of it
Will post my results for sure

It wears off pretty fast, I’ve done mine and that’s normal however I put Diver on by Polish Angel (spray on wipe off) and your problem will be solved.

Thanks, my problem (as always) is my location, no one sales that brand locally, I do use Rain-X in my F15 and after almost 4 years, the front windshield still like new, I think I'm going to give it more time to wear off, we still have plenty of rain until december

I can provide you a link but it would be in the USA. You can also try rain x to see if that stops the skipping.

FYI, ceramic coating may not be the culprit. Mine randomly began doing the exact same thing recently (~5K miles in), and I don't have the coating. It's infuriating. I'd suggest trying to replace the wipers first. May be a quality issue with the stock wipers BMW installed.

Just did, but my wifes car is not a BMW is a 2019 Q5, dealer replaced the wiper blades under warranty and same story,no changes, so Rain X will be until they stop doing that
