[iPhone 3G] Best non-integrated iPhone 3G solution!

I am searching for a way to get my iPhone 3G hooked up to my e90 sound system. I want the iPhone 3G to be hooked up to a charger, and I want the aux cable to come out of the dock connector and not out of the head-phone jack !! (better pre-amp signal for higher sound quality). My old setup for the iPod Video using the Monster Charger with audio out from the dock connector is not compatible with my new iPhone 3G !!!

I drove down to the US to buy it from the Apple store b/c it's not being sold in Canada and here is my verdict:

DO NOT BUY The Kensington LiquidAUX shown above if you own a new iPhone 3G.

I installed right there on place and returned it to the store 20 minutes later because this unit creates an AWFUL HUMMING NOISE in my car. Other people have reported similar problems on web discussion forums.

If anyone has a iphone 3G solution that works in an E90 (no iDrive) please share it here !!!!

Google Sik and they make a product called PIMP, it works flawlessly...i can even stream pandora from my iphone 3g..

the Kensington system is hands down the best solution. Havent had this humming problem. Have had it in my car since October.
