guys with forge dv's what spring?

Im about to install my forge dv's and i noticed i have a green and yellow spring. They have the yellow in now but it says that the yellow is for 15-23psi. Ive heard from a few members that if your running 15 psi you should go with the yellow spring. The green is rated for 5-15psi. what are you guys running?

I started with yellow because everybody was talking about how much better it was.
I personally hated the yellow. It was too sensitive.
I would barely let off the gas and it would dump all the pressure. wtf?

I also noticed that with the yellow springs it took a bit longer for the intake manifold to build boost. I could tell both with my butt dyno and I saw it visually with my boost guage.
I'm have the green springs installed now and I'm extremely happy.

are you sure you dont mean black? The blacks are more sensitive than the greens? the yellows seem like they are really tight and wont dump any pressure lol.

i had yellow as I listened to some members on this forum but green is better with our tunes as it dumps pressure quicker when required than yellow which is very important for the turbos especially if you have catless DPs/exhaust and are running a high boost map...i have procede v3 and I highly recommend green

It sounds like we're saying the oposite things.
For me, the yellows dumped quicker than the green springs.
The yellows are stiffer. When you are on the throttle and building up boost then the spring compacts while the manifold is building up pressure.
If you have a stiffer spring then the reaction of the spring will be greater than the green springs.

Is it?
I've noticed that the forge springs feel better even with a green spring.
The way the green springs hold boost and the way they dump boost is great.

I have a feeling that the difference of the Forge valves is more noticable with manuals though since there is more time in between shifts.

talking about Forge DV's, has anyone had trouble with a stuck valve on the intake pipe? like if I try to turn the clip either clockwise or counter clockwise the damn valve will not budge out!

anyone with trick to pull these off without breaking the rest of the retaining clip assembly? just looks so weak that I don't want to tug too hard and afraid it will break the clip or retaining piece....

reason I want to remove is to try the green spring....I have been running the yellow but I removed my tune, so....

Are you sure that the grey clip is in the correct place?
Mine came out pretty easy when I went from the yellow to the green.

I use the DV's with the green springs. They open quicker, so you get lower boost peaks during shifting. I don't think that the green springs will not work up to at least 17 psi sustainable boost. I have the Forge DV's because my stock DV's did not hold 14psi boost properly.

So yellow for spirited responsiveness, green for less responsive, more flexibilty during normal driving if I understand. Those are my DVs and I had no problems running yellows.

Maybe I'm thinking about this all wrong then.
I'm confused.

The stiffer the spring the more vacuum has to be provided to open the DV. So it takes a bit more time to build up the needed vacuum. A stiffer spring will close the DV faster.

the grey clip wasn't touched as I left it in the pipe itself, once I removed the OEM valves I just inserted the Forge ones in, then I turned the clip to lock. now, if I turn the click to unlock I expected to only pull the valve out of the pipe....but this is not the case. its not both, just one valve that seems to get stuck as if the clip is grabbing a small section of the valve keeping it stuck where the grey clip assembly exists???

I tried using some force but it wouldn't BUDGE!!! so I left it as is for now....
