When in CarPlay, with BMW WiFi, I am not able to retrieve email messages. I think this just started happening and not sure why.

I have never been able to get email in CarPlay, figure it was not an available feature. Are you sure you ever had it?

What I meant is that I cannot pull up internet or email on my Iphone when I am in the X5 and wifi is connected to car. If I turn off wifi on my iphone I get repeated messages to turn wifi back on to use CarPlay. I either can get and send messages through Carplay or use internet on my phone, not both if connected to BMW wifi.

I remember seeing a thread about that. A WiFi setting needs to be turned off but don't recall which one it was.
