Sign recognition (UK) what is recognised?
Question for those in the UK mainly.
The sign recognisation software is able to read several types of signs , these are the ones I am aware of - just wondering if any more I don't know about? Speed limit signs Speed limit signs on overhead gantries on motorways Give way sign Anything else? It doesn't read no overtaking which I had thought it does in other European markets No entry? Believe the car will warn about going down a one way street the Wong way - or is that info derived from the satnav database? |

The info in the BMW TIS about road sign (aka "speed limit") and depending on options, instrument cluster, and car model...you may have the "overtaking ban" warning light (click link to see functional description of both features as well as an image of the instrument cluster warning light for both): https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/g...stems/G8L7sJye
Nothing in the tech data mentions one-way, wrong way, no entry signs. And again, not all will have the overtaking ban warning. Again, if you click the link, scroll down to the paragraphs that discuss the functional description of ROAD SIGN & OVERTAKING BAN.
