Parking Light Issue

Is the parking light sign supposed to be on all the time?

Because my light setting is on auto and this sign shows and stays on every time I drive the car, even in day time when I only have DRL on.

If any of your "parking lights" are illuminated, then that icon should also be illuminated. What happens if you turn off the DRLs and move the light switch to where everything is off? Does the green parking light go off? If so, then your DRLs are considered as being one of the parking lights.
