Finally got to try out my stealth hitch with the trailer I used to tow behind my M40i. What an improvement with their direct connect tow balls that forgo the standard 2 inch receiver. Much more solid than my old factory solution, didn't have to give up kick under motion to open trunk, and zero play while hauling firewood for a friend. Not to mention, this engine and brake combo makes hauling anything easy. Who'd have thought.... X3MC... The ultimate towing machine!

Now, me adding the hitch to my X3MC to haul my skis around, that is totally acceptable.

Thanks, I really needed a vehicle that covered all the bases. With the hitch now, this one definitely fits the bill. I couldn't be happier with it. I've also got a slick Thule 3 bike rack that locks on the trailer ball.

F97/98/G01 Stealth hitch trailer 5500 lbs / 350lbs tongue.

Factory G01 in the US 4400lbs trailer weight
(Factory European hitches are rated a bit higher I believe)
