Is wheel insurance worth considering for incoming X3MC?

What's the cost these days? 2K? Probably a good idea in NYC. When I live in Norther NJ I broke two rims in 12 months. So the cost to replace the rims with new tires was near 1.6K.

You might want to consider the cost of the insurance vs a winter wheel set up. I'm planning on putting a 19" winter wheel set up on my X4M. The 21" summer/performance set up it terrible in any snow or ice and very susceptible to pot hole damage.

Good luck putting 19s on any X3M/X4M. I thought I was going to recycle my bmw winter package from my G01. I thought wrong. The massive front brakes won't allow 19s.

I picked my car up last weekend. Finance mgr told me it was 2400 for the three years. Non negotiable (even tho I thought they were) told him I would take my chances without it.

Purchased my winter setup yesterday which should cut down on the wear and tear on the OEM 21’s

Same. My winter set up 764M w/ winter Scorps arrives mid dec. $3569 including tax and 10% BMWCCA discount. Mounting $80. Springfield NJ BMW. Just FYI.
I live in NYC and only drive weekends for a total of 3300k mi/year.
May forego the insurance.
