Powerflex front end bushings...ok for DD?
I'm thinking about going through the front end of my "new to me" 07' 335i and tightening everything. With 100K miles on it, it actually drives really nice....but I'm sure most of the bushings and other components have a decent amount of wear on them.
Any reason I should not go through and replace all of the oem rubber bushings in the front with harder ones (like Powerflex)? Does it add a lot more noise and vibration to the cabin? This is a daily driver...so I don't really want things too harsh. I might as well go through the rearend of the car and do the same thing. Thoughts? Any other brands of bushings to look at? Thanks!

I wouldn't do this for a daily driver application.
I replaced my front tension struts with a M3 variant and that alone made it feel a bit more rough. Road feedback definitely increased. |
