OEM Mud Flaps fitted to X3M Comp

There are a couple people that went the custom route from what I've seen so far but I just wanted to make this to let everyone know that the optional X3 mud flaps from BMW do fit on X3M Comps. We will run these in the winter then remove for summer. Roughly $180 from BMW too.

Here are the part #'s:
Front: 82162410525
Rear: 82162410526

Sorry for the shotty pics, I don't have any close ups at the moment. I can update later on

I can snap some tonight. I had the dealer install, no modifications needed they were a direct fit.

They fit but it's not perfect and there are gaps from the pics in threads here. You would think BMW sells enough M40i versions to warrant a true factory option.

I’ll still get the eBay ones on as a temporary measure once they come in but would like to use the OEM ones for long term.

Any insight you can offer for fitment modifications/process would be greatly appreciated.

Well I suppose seamless is in the eye of the beholder as I'm going by the pics shown from this thread;

Has the design changed and yours doesn't have these gaps and edges?

Let me verify when I get off tonight and upload some photos. I don't recall there being that large of a gap on mine. Maybe his weren't installed properly? Idk

That gap was .2” so likely more noticeable in up close pics.
