Found Something New Today...

i always thought the service in i drive was just a counter, like the dealership resets it everytime and it milage goes down. today i found out it actually isn't.

i turned on my car and i got a service due light so i checked i drive and under service notification, it says data exchange 9/4/08 at xx:xx:xx time and i will be contacted by bmw center soon. anyone know how frequently the data exchange happens?

might not be new but new to me

Happens whenver a condition-based service sensor triggers it.

You can also start the process manually.
