What is your next vehicle going to be?
Will you buy another BMW or is there another make that caught your attention?
For me, the Tesla Model 3 (Long range dual motors) is starting to have some appeal. I'm tempted by its low running cost, quick acceleration and oodles of gadgets. Of course, this has everything to do with Tesla being around. The mid level Model 3 is around $50k (before tax incentive) and comes with 18" alloy wheels that are less prone to road hazard (They look cool once you remove the plastic wheel covers). It doesn't have the chintzy rear spoiler that falls apart. It rides better than the Performance model especially when Tesla doesn't offer adaptive suspension. Hopefully by then they'll have a HUD so you don't always have to look to the center screen. Surely they should solve build quality issues by then |

Trackhawk. So absurd. So badass. Also really like the Stelvio Quad but concerned about long term ownership costs, maintenance, and parts availability. Their value has been dropping like a rock too.
Other than that I’m looking forward to the new Z06. The GT500 is also in consideration. Need to see how they feel and drive. Hard to go back to American after an M3 and GT3 but I’m hopeful that they’ve finally caught up a bit on interior quality fit and finish. |

I didn't have any issues with the car. It was well put together. The fit and finish was better than BMW 3 and 4 series and Mercedes A & C class. And, it was quick as hell for a standard AWD car. |

Camaro 1LE or GT350. Something with a NA V8 and a manual gear box which is ready for track days with little effort. C7 Grand Sport is also on the list.

Good choice. I had a 2016 C7 Z51 but with the 8 speed auto. It was a sweet car until I wrecked it. It was silver with red leather and black out trim option for the wheels, spoiler, mirrors.

Hate to break it to you, but the Tesla federal tax incentives died out at the end of 2019. Only breaks now are the state ones and that’s not in every state unfortunately.
Regardless, I’ve been kicking myself for not waiting a little longer on ordering my z4 M40i. The only reason for that is a z06 or ZR1 are my obtainable dream cars (z06 was in budget when I bought the z4). Shopped the z4, ZL1 and a z06 but the Chevy dealer here didn’t wanna work with me on prices even with the c8 coming out so I went back to bmw. If I would’ve waited a few more months when the c8 was announced, I probably could’ve got the z06 deal I was wanting ![]() I also considered a model 3 performance, but wasn’t sure how I’d like the BEV power. Thankfully, my coworker is picking one up in a couple weeks so I’ll drive it and decide if I’ll pick up a used one at some point. |

Realistically, a family hauler in the form of a Volvo XC90, Volvo V90, BMW X5 or if BMW North America cooperates, a BMW G31 3 series wagon.
Wife and I will be watching dealerships closely for any deals on late year ND RF Miatas as well. |

My next car will probably be a 911 4s. 1st choice would be a 997.2 (6th gen facelift) and 2nd choice would be a 991.1 (7th gen pre-facelift). Always loved those cars and you can't beat the way they drive.
The 997's are just about on the bottom of the depreciation curve and low mile/1 owner cars seem to be creeping back up. The 991's look to still be heading downward, but they have more modern touches. Either way I'm sure I'll be happy.

Either a BMW M4 or a 911. Or even perhaps a weekend car if I can keep my 335is. Like a C7 vette. My ultimate goal would be Ferrari 458 but I don't think I'll be there yet. Still not sure but Porsche are grossly overpriced but I understand they are more handling car. While the M4 seems more like a tuner car like my current 335is so still not 100% sure.
Will have to see how the finances are in a few years. |

I've been pondering this lately too. I'll probably just drive my truck for a while until something 'speaks' to me. Thats what I did last time when the ZL1 came out.
The only cars that are really interesting to me right now are the Boxster Spyder, and the GT3. Unfortunately, I know that I would never be able to drive one of these cars, so not going to happen. (3 kids, so 2 seater wont work, and with our current homeless/mental illness problems in CA, I couldn't park one of those cars at work anymore, my ZL1 was vandalized in the middle of the day) I am interested in a Tesla, another Raptor, or an F250 diesel with the Tremor package. |

Sedan: M5 or last year of the M6 GC.
Sports Car: 720s The sedan may happen this year. I've pushed the 720s off since my daughter decided to go to law school. ![]()

Currently 458, F80 6mt, and honda civic to daily (20k miles a year).
Trying to sell the 458 and go to a .2 GT3 6spd. That way when I do feel its time to get rid of the F80, I wont be upset to replace it something EV or DCT.

Wife's getting tired of the X5 so we're thinking that new Yukon when that comes out later this Summer more than likely. We'll see what happens once it hits dealer lots.

M2 or Boxster. I’m a sedan guy but I haven’t found the 3-series to be a fun car since 2012, and while the Giulia is fun that’s all it’s got going for it. I can’t live with its sub-par interior, tech, and build quality.
The M2 and Boxster are the only reasonably priced vehicles that do sportiness and luxury up to my standards. Bummer I won’t be able to shuffle around friends/family in it. |
