X3 G01 coding. Missing these choices.
I've been coding my BMW's for years (than you Shawn) and now have a new X3 G01 picked up from Performance Delivery. I have an ENET cable, but also purchased an OBD-MX unit and paid up for BimmerCode android app.
Using BimmerCode, I've done much of what I want. Still, these elements that I want (many of which I've coded into my F25 X3) cannot yet be found for me. Help and direction for each, please?? 1. Turn signals in HUD - very important for me 2. UK English option for speaking 3. Disable seat belt initial tug 4. Enable Mobile Office (I get emails and texts in my F25, but not the G01) 5. Change default Adaptive Cruise follow distance 6. Eliminate ft-lb and hp bars from the scroll menu on the on board computer list (this may be a non coding setting option I have missed) |

Not possible with the digital dash - as I understand it, the new hardware doesn't have the ability to relay the required signal. Works fine in a 2019 with old dash, bur very unlikely this will ever be possible in the 2020.
I was sad to lose that option too, but oh well. Last edited by IslandDriver; 02-13-2020 at 09:58 AM.. |

Safety-wise this is a real bummer. I find my steering wheel blocks the dash indicators and I at times have signals on when I do not mean for this to happen. In the HUD I would see them.

Too bad about the turn signals in HUD. I've wondered about that as well. For the English accent selection, mine was in iDrive. Believe I had French, Spanish & UK. I'm ID6 on a 2020 MY btw

#5 I adjusted that once on the wheel and it stayed that way {ID6, and this could be also market specific, as I recall some posts about this, where it worked for some and didn't for others. mine is EU build)

I love the tug! My car loves me, too, so it hugs me.
