UK Stop Sale

Is anybody else struggling to get their dealer to release their vehicle due to a stop Sale in the UK? My Dealer has the car physically at their depot but cannot release as it needs a software update. My understanding was that the patches were available and this should be a quick fix, I have waited over a week so far.

All the dealer can tell me is that they are "waiting for the software update from BMW Group".

Happened to me mid-December. Took about 3 weeks of waiting.

Might answer why my dealer has gone radio silent for the last week on when my car will be ready for me to collect (supposed to be this week).

We experienced this issue stateside a few weeks ago...it's been fixed by BMW via download...perhaps the roll out to the UK was a bit slower?

Confirmed today, there is a stop sale on UK X3M's until the update is available in English, software is done but seems no English version of the process yet.

Or is it another stop sale for something different to the last one? which would be an amazing coincidence...

This is a new one for DME issues as per the sales stop a week or so ago in the USA. Still no confirmed deliverys in the UK right now.

And the fix is now available so cars can be programmed and delivered again!
