Geico totaled my X3M Comp today

I t-boned a taxi that blew a stop sign about two weeks ago. Had my 4 month old in the back in her car seat!! It was actually terrifying.

All the airbags deployed and she barely made a peep. Everyone was ok! Took a ride to the hospital in an ambulance with the baby. That was the scariest part.

The car felt incredibly safe. Not tooo much damage to the x3 but with all airbags deployed the car was totaled. The taxi was absolutely a total loss. I’m sure the X3M will be back on the road with a salvage title in no time.

Probably won’t get another x3m. Was a bit small for is as it was. Prolly going to look at x5s but bmw has my loyalty after this no doubt.

Very scary with your kid in the car. Glad you are both ok and the bmw proved to be a safe vehicle.

Yes taxi driver was ok too!

I thought he was going to have a heart attack when he realized I didn’t have a stop sign.

Also, my winter wheels (with 50 miles on them) are for sale in classifieds.

All that matters is you and your family are safe. Same thing happened to me a few years ago in my M6 with my wife and son and daughter in the car and no one was hurt. Did $90k damage. Peace and looking forward to your next vehicle...

Wow. So glad everyone is fine.

Sometime ago, our friend has a very bad accident in an older X5 model. X5 was totaled but our friend walked away from the scene of the accident.

He purchased another X5 for a good reason.
