So I just seen this image of how they perform the Covid Test Swab.

I don't know about you guys, but just this visual alone would be enough incentive to make me want to stay at home to avoid having the need to have this done. Looks very uncomfortable!

My wife had something similiar to this for her migraines....only difference was they were injecting a numbing agent into that area at the back....and they did it in both nostrils.

Well I guess none of you have been to an ENT. Let me tell you about those fuckers! I've been to 2 different ones, both did the same, so seems to be their m.o.

Walk into the office and they start talking. Asking you whats wrong, normal shit. This is simply a distraction as they grab their weapon of choice. They then proceed to pretend to be looking in your nose like a normal doctor would... they keep talking and go deeper... dafuq you start thinking to yourself... before you can take this bastard out he's so far down your throat you can't talk, hell you can barely breath. Then just as soon as it happened it's over. Motherfucker has the gall to just keep talking as if he hadn't just raped your face.

probably not even close 80-90 and there is another factor that most accurate tests are not 100% as well.. its like an alien invasion in a way that everyone is learning to deal with it by going, hitting their heads to the wall..

most of the time we see celebs squeezing some fun out of isolation its not bad we need to smile etc as well.. cause its a pure psychological thing at the same time.. but it looks like, when considering all the countries around the world im not sure how much people do feel the threats seriousness.. hate to say it but i guess May and June will be like hell unless someone can come up with a solution... and then there ll be a paranoia phase.. oh no one thought 2020 will be a year like this..

Dr. Jeff Salvon-Harman works with Presbyterian. He walked us through the process of being tested. To avoid contamination, he said swabs do not enter through the mouth.

'We don't want to see false negative results because we haven't collected a specimen appropriately,' he said.

That is why they do a nasopharyngeal swab instead.

The swab goes in through your nose first, then it is pushed to the back of your throat. The swab is then rotated to collect any viral specimens that are usually found in that section.

Had an ENT insert a camera way up into my sinuses before. He told me before he started to resist the urge to sneeze. Wasn't easy. But I figured as uncomfortable as it was for me, at least I didn't have to see what he was seeing.

Not sure how they are conducting tests in your region, but I know for a fact that the testing procedure depicted in this thread is exactly how it's being done throughout NY state.
