licence plate lights
Hi all... i have another dumb question
well i want to change the licence plate lights to something brighter and what i read on this forum is that if we use LED then we will get an error message. If we use a normal bulb then it will be fine. my question is where can i find a normal festoon C5W light thats brighter then the current ones? i have tried ebay and everything seems to be LEDs now. |

the problem with every non led light that I have used on previous cars is that they fade, and some that come with blue tint turn green. Im sure they have led setups that have resistors that wont give you any error. what year is your e90?

i really like the LEDs but im afraid to add anything that may give me a warning message. Is there any out there with that kind of set up or is this something we will have to put together ourselves?

ive replaced my licence plate lights with Festoon LED type bulbs on my E36, didn't receive any error message - it kinda gives you that white coolish "Lexus" look
i still have a couple of spares, happy for you to try it! Last edited by Ninjaoz; 09-15-2008 at 05:28 AM.. |
