snow vc50 gauge boost tap
Hey, anyone running this gauge?
My issue is I have it connect on one of my bungs on the CP, issue is my target boost is 22psi on bm3 tune, the vc50 reads all the way up to like 28. I know its electrical vs mechanical. how are you guys hooking it up? |

Are you looking at the correct boost in the logs? You would need to compare pre-throttle boost to what is measured from a bung on the CP. You would not compare to MAP as that is after the throttle. There will be a difference if you have any kind of throttle closure.

i have my VC50 hooked up to the MAF using P3 Boost tap.

The only way they will align is if they see that same signal. The different sensors will read slightly different pressures. With that said, does it really matter? Just set your controller to start and end as needed based on logs. The boost value on the controller should really just be for reference, not relied upon as an actual value.

my VC50 measures very accurately to what my pre throttle psi is according to my logs
