N55 Vacuum Connection?
After adding an oil catch can to my car this weekend, I noticed what could be an unconnected vacuum connection on my N55 engine. There is no hose I can find which should connect here. Please take a look at the photos and let me know if anything seems to be amiss. I circled the connector in red:

I bought the catch can kit from Turner. Fit was great, installation much easier than I thought. They didn't provide any directions I could find, but it turned out to be easy enough. It's a very close to stock appearance, I think.
I'll need to cut the engine cover a bit to fit, then it should look perfect. |
